There are many "sour" drinks and once you know one you will be able to figure out the others. In the case of the Apricot Sour the whiskey of the more popular Whiskey Sour is replaced with apricot brandy – pretty simple. It gets a little more complicated when it comes to the "sour" however.
Depending on your taste you can choose a pre-made sour mix (homemade or bottled), or use a splash of simple syrup with a touch of lemon, or skip the sweetness and use lemon only like the Scotch Sour.
Prep Time: 3 minutes
Total Time: 3 minutes
Yield: 1 Cocktail
Ingredients
2 ounces apricot brandy
3 ounces sour mix
Maraschino cherry for garnish
Preparation
Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
Shake well.
Strain into a highball glass filled with fresh ice.
