Bloemfontein - The Pharmaceutical Society has urged patients to not panic over reports that pharmacies across the country have almost run out of stock of a cholesterol control drug and a painkiller.
Bloemfontein pharmacologist Blenn Eagar says people should not panic since the society has ensured that Buscopan Compositum and Atolip will be stocked up soon.
The shortages are due to suppliers unable to meet demand and a limited availability of imported raw material.
