Nepal quake: Doctor defends govt decision to delay medical supplies─── 05:54 Mon, 04 May 2015
Kathmandu - The Director of a hospital in Nepal has defended a government decision to delay medical supplies coming into the quake-ravaged country in favour of aid such as tents and food.
Shankar Mon Rai, director of the Kirtipur hospital in Kathmandu, says Nepal has enough medical supplies for at least a week, but food is vital at the moment.
This after a plane from India was not allowed to land at Nepal airport because government took a decision to only let aid supplies come into the country for the time being.
