Long gone are the days of Tom, Dick and Harry – or Tina, Dawn and Harriet.
The Baby Centre has released its list of the 30 boys’ and 30 girls’ names, predicted to be favoured by expectant parents and there’s a few unusual entries.
While retro and traditional names such as Hetty, Herbert, Percy and Beryl are enjoying a comeback – the lists are also littered with modern pop culture references such as Khaleesi – the Mother of Dragons and Kit, first name of Jon Snow actor Kit Harington, both from popular fantasy series Game of Thrones.
