The South African pair, George Coetzee and Jaco van Zyl, have done far better during round two of the ISPS World Cup of Golf being played in Australia.
The pair had a woeful start to the golf tournament in Melbourne by carding an opening round of four over par 76.
Coetzee and Van Zyl shot five bogeys and just a single birdie on day one putting them in the 25th place.
Today the pair carded a round of six under par 66 at the Kingston Heath Golf Club.
They sunk seven birdies with the only blemish on their scorecard being a bogey on the 14th.
The round has seen them move to 2 under par for the tournament for a share of 18th along Australia’s Adam Scott and Mark Leishman as well as Belgium’s Thomas Pieters and Nicolas Colsaerts.
Denmark’s Thorbjorn Oleson and Soren Kledson have been dominating proceedings and lead on 12 under par heading into the third round.
