Manmade climate change is 'no threat at all'─── THANDI XABA 15:36 Tue, 24 Nov 2015
Bloemfontein - Manmade climate change is no threat at all. This according to engineer and energy expert Andrew Kenny in a news release issued by the Institute of Race Relations.
He says over the last 18 years, carbon dioxide (CO2) has risen considerably, but there has been no rise in global temperatures. Kenny believes that while the planet faces many environmental threats, such as over-fishing and the devastation of wild animals, manmade climate change is no threat at all.
Kenny explains that CO2 is a weak greenhouse gas, one that traps heat radiating away from the Earth, and basic physics shows it can never have more than a small effect on global temperatures.
He says CO2 is a natural, safe, life-giving gas and is not a pollutant.
