Durban – A pensioner, believed to be in his seventies, fell to his death in Durban on Wednesday, paramedic services said.
RescueCare spokesperson, Ceron Lennox, said paramedics responded to the incident on the N3 near Musgrave Road Bridge where they found the man "lying motionless on the highway".
"Paramedics arrived to find the elderly man on the busy highway. He had fallen from the pedestrian bridge above.
"He was assessed but had unfortunately sustained fatal injuries. There was nothing more paramedics could do and the man was declared deceased on the scene."
