Bloemfontein roads closed for RAG procession─── 07:44 Sat, 30 Jan 2016
Bloemfontein - Motorists in Bloemfontein should take note that certain roads will be closed today for this year’s Rag float processions held by the University of the Free State.
SRC Rag leader Johan Diedericks says students will be transported by bus to the Pelonomi hospital for the morning procession, where they will proceed to the Twin City mall in Heidedal to distribute about 10 000 meals to the needy.
There will be two processions - one at 10:00 and another at 18:00. The morning procession will take place from Pelonomi Hospital to Twin City mall and the evening procession will start at the Tempe traffic light at Nelson Mandela Drive and continue to Old Grey Sports Grounds.
