Pretoria - Despite Public Protector Thuli Madonsela finding no conclusive evidence of state funds being abused to benefit the ANC in running Operation Hlasela, Premier Ace Magashule is not yet off the hook.
Part two of her report will be released in coming months, as are several other reports involving the premier.
Advocate Thuli Madonsela says the second part of her Hlasela investigation, which deals with alleged rigging of tender processes, will be released soon. She says the report has been completed and only a few ends have to be tied up. The report delves into allegations that tenders linked to Magashule's flagship service delivery project, Operation Hlasela, were fixed to benefit politically connected individuals.
Two other reports linked to Magashule are also in the pipeline and near completion. These involve the Free State's controversial multimillion-rand website, and the allegedly Gupta-linked, failing Vrede Dairy project.
