Kroonstad Country Club 'not going anywhere'─── DANE BEISHEIM 15:22 Wed, 29 Jun 2016
Kroonstad - There are no immediate plans to have the grounds of the Kroonstad Country Club developed into low cost housing.
This is according to acting club manager, Koos Strydom, in response to rumours circulating regarding the country club's future.
Strydom told OFM News that, although the Moqhaka Local Municipality has indicated in the past that it would like to utilise the land for this purpose, the country club has a long-term lease with the municipality until at least 2030. He adds that there have also not been any recent talks with the municipality’s management in this regard.
