Case against Welkom lecturer postponed for trial date─── MARK STEENBOK 15:52 Fri, 01 Jul 2016
Welkom - The case against a Welkom lecturer from the Central University of Technology (CUT), who stands accused of conspiring to murder two of his colleagues, has been postponed so that a trial date can be determined.
This is according to Hawks spokesperson, S’fiso Nyakane. He says Christiaan Oberholzer will have to appear in the local Regional court again on July 15. He was arrested in November last year after he allegedly approached a man about killing the two women. The women got wind of his plan, and alerted the police.
Oberholzer reportedly thought the women were planning on laying an internal charge against him.
