Bultfontein farm burglars in court again─── ANDRE GROBLER 15:53 Mon, 25 Jul 2016
Bultfontein - The case against five men who allegedly stole various items during a farm robbery appeared in the Bultfontein Magistrate's Court on Monday.
A court official says the matter was postponed to August 22 for Regional Court instructions.
The men were arrested for robbery on a Bultfontein farm belonging to Leon Venter.
The men, Mahlomola Chaka, Themba Mentjies, Tete Moshane, Pogisho Mokale and Tshepiso Ntsane, face charges for being in possession of suspected stolen firearms, household items and theft.
Four of the men were arrested after the robbery on Venter's farm. A fifth suspect was implicated during the police investigation.
Three firearms were reported missing from the farmhouse as well as vintage coins, a camera, and a watch that were retrieved.
Venter's bakkie was found abandoned on a gravel road near the town.
The men remain in custody.
