Bloemfontein - The case against two men who allegedly stabbed and killed a police constable was postponed in the Botshabelo Magistrate’s Court today.
Hawks spokesperson, S'fiso Nyakane, says the matter will be back in court on September 5.
Sello Petlane and Earnest Kgate were arrested in the early hours of Friday morning after they allegedly stabbed and killed Constable Johannes Putsoeli in Botshabelo, outside Bloemfontein in February.
Putsoeli was found in a field near Kaizer Sebothelo Stadium. He was allegedly robbed of his service pistol, cell phone, and wallet.
Nyakane says they are still searching for other suspects.
