Potchefstroom - Police in Potchefstroom have launched a manhunt for five men in connection with the murder of a 42-year-old woman during a house robbery in Potchefstroom last night.
North West police spokesperson, Kelebogile Moleko, says the robbers shot and injured the deceased between 21:00 and 22:00 outside her residence in Mooivallei Park.
According to Moleko, the injured woman died while entering her house.
She says the suspects then also assaulted another woman inside the house. She sustained head injuries and was rushed to a local hospital.
Moleko says the suspects fled the scene with jewellery, a television set, a computer and other valuables.
