Woman killed on the R500, Fochville─── 12:05 Tue, 25 Oct 2016
A woman, believed to be in her twenties, was killed this morning after she vehicle rolled on the R500 outside of Fochville.
ER24 paramedics, along with another service, arrived on the scene and found the wrecked light motor vehicle lying partially on top of the roadside barriers.
According to the ER24 state, the paramedics discovered the body of a woman lying trapped inside the vehicle.
The paramedics could not do much for the patient and she was declared dead on the scene. It is believed that a number of motorists attempted to free the driver, but were unable to.
It is understood that the woman lost control of the vehicle, causing it to roll into the barriers. Local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
