Kai Garib Caravan Park will do more than simply boost tourism in Keimoes area | News Article

Keimoes - The Kai Garib Caravan Park, which was opened on Thursday by Deputy Minister of Tourism, Tokozile Xasa, will contribute to job creation in the Keimoes community, as well as boost tourism to the region.

The Caravan Park boasts a conference hall, its own water supply and reticulation system, as well as a swimming pool and recreation equipment.

The resort will provide jobs for at least 40 people from the community, while Xasa also believes those involved in the construction of the R10 million facility will continue benefiting from the skills training they received.

"Those skills remain with those people. These young people who have been trained can train other people in the community so that when RDP housing are built by government or there is any other kind of construction, they are able to utilise those young people. So we're looking into this having a ripple effect in terms of benefiting the community," Xasa added.
