Arlington farm attack suspects back in court next week | News Article

Arlington - Five men who were arrested this week in connection with the attack and robbery of a woman at a farm near Arlington will be back in court on March 7.

Free State police spokesperson, Zweli Mohobeleli says cousins Tseko Radebe (30), Ramonyaduwa Radebe (37), Mokwanyane Radebe (33) and Mhlupheki Malindi (32) will then apply for bail. A fifth suspect, Pule Motloung also appeared alongside them in connection with the attack on Pauline van Zyl from the RoodeKraal Farm.

Van Zyl was returning home from town, early on Monday evening, when the robbers struck. Her husband Stefan was not home at the time.

Mohobeleli said the robbers demanded money and forced Van Zyl to unlock the safe. She was tied up and three firearms were stolen. Two of the suspects were arrested shortly after the attack, while the others were arrested on Tuesday in Arlington and Lindley respectively.
