Man dies falling down mountain in Nelspruit─── 06:04 Sun, 31 Jan 2016
Nelspruit - A man died on Saturday afternoon when he fell from a mountain in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga paramedics said.
Netcare 911 spokesman Chris Botha said paramedics responded at about 4.45pm to a report of a man having fallen down a 100-metre cliff at the Three Rondawels in Nelspruit.
“Exact detail as to how the accident happened will remain a subject for police comment,” he said.
Paramedics, police, and emergency services arrived at the scene and, after an aerial search was conducted, found the body at the base of the mountain.
“Tragically, the man died due to the extensive injuries that he sustained,” Botha said.
