Rohde's affidavit said they had been in counselling and she had felt suicidal before.

After a quick investigation, Rohde was investigated and charged.

His advocate Pete Mihalik demanded to see the state's pathology report on Susan Rohde, after his defence had already provided their privately commissioned one.

He complained that Die Burger newspaper already seemed to have it so why couldn't the defence.

The magistrate said no to this request.
