Highest courts announce new judge nominees─── 17:23 Wed, 31 Aug 2016
Bloemfontein - The Judicial Service Commission has announced the nominees for different vacant posts in the country’s highest courts.
Four judges are in line for one vacant post in the Constitutional Court. They are Justices Lebotsang Bosielo, Jody Kollapen, Stevan Majiedt and Malcolm Wallis.
Two judges have been nominated for the post of Deputy Judge President in the Free State Division of the High Court. They are Justices Jake Moloi and Cagney Musi.
There are six nominations for three vacant judge positions in the Free State High Court. The nominees are advocates Sharon Chesiwe and Peter Fischer, as well as Abe Mathebula, Jamela Mhlambi, Louis Pohl and Paul Zietsman.
The JSC will interview the nominees during a sitting on October 3 in Cape Town.
