Emergency outage: Rouxville, Smithfield and Zastron─── 15:48 Fri, 22 Apr 2016
Eskom will have a scheduled electricity outage on Sunday 24 April 2016.
The outage is necessary to do emergency maintenance on a transformer and other equipment to prevent possible future breakdowns.
Customers in the following towns and townships will be affected by the outage:
Rouxville and Roleleathunya
Smithfield and Mofulatshepe
Zastron and Matlakeng
The outage is scheduled to start at 06h00 and to continue until 16h00. Electricity can, however, be switched on without notice. Customers are therefore urged to treat electrical equipment as live and dangerous at all times.
