The Toyota Cheetahs resume their preseason this morning with the 2017 Super Rugby season kicking off next month.
The team program begins on Monday however the team will only begin their field training sessions on Tuesday.
There is a high expectation of the team this season, especially after the young squad won the Currie Cup last year after an unbeaten campaign.
The good news for the team is that practically the entire squad which won the worlds' oldest rugby competition has been contracted for the new season.
While the Cheetahs finished 14th in the Super Rugby in 2016, some pundits are of the view that there is no reason why the side cannot end the tournament in at least the top 8.
The Cheetahs kick-off their campaign on 25 February when they host the Lions at the Toyota Stadium in Bloemfontein.
