There were big wins for Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Arsenal and Barcelona last night in the UEFA Champions League.
At the Allianz Arena, Bayern Munich scored three times in the first half and once in the second stanza to beat Greek giants, Olympiakos 4-0, while in London, Alexis Sanchez scored on either side of the break along with Mesut Ozil to beat Dinamo Zagreb 3-0.
At the Haifa International Stadium, Jose Mourinho’s chargers scored three times in the final 20 minutes of the game to trash Maccabi Tel Aviv 4-0.
Mourinho says the win was important for the morale in the camp…
At the Camp Nou, Lionel Messi and Luis Saurez each scored a brace as Barcelona hammered Roma 6-1.
While Roma’s goalkeeper, Wojciech Szczesny, leaked six goals he says it was still beautiful to watch…
Last night’s other results saw Zenit St Petersburg beat Valencia 2-0, Dynamo Kiev beat Porto 2-0 and Borisov and Bayer Leverkusen played to a 1-1 draw.
