The first round of the 2016 Telkom Knockout resumes on Friday evening when the new boys, Highlands Park, host Chippa United.

On Wednesday night Bloemfontein Celtic were knocked out in the opening match with a 2-0 loss to Cape Town City F.C.

This evening’s match in Tembisa kicks off at 20:00.

Tomorrow Free State Stars host Wits, Kaizer Chiefs play Maritzburg United in Soweto, and SuperSport United lock horns with Ajax Cape Town.

The match of the round of 16 will without a doubt be between Orlando Pirates and the PSL leaders, Golden Arrows.

The Buccaneers coach, Mushin Ertugral, says that Clinton Larsen’s Arrows don’t lead the standing by luck and they need to be respected.

“We’re playing against the team who is at the top of the log, and any team who is there is not by luck, it’s a good team.

“They assembled a team that plays very positively and is well organised.

“They also have certain key players that we have to looking after closely.

Mamelodi Sundowns will host Polokwane City on Tuesday evening in the final match of the round.
