Through receiving lessons every day from the office of the auditor-general, this financial guru – hated by other municipal officials - became Brutus Mahlako’s friend.
Now this friendship paid off for the mayor of the Metsimaholo Local Municipality – that includes Sasolburg.
His financial status has now become what other municipalities just dream of. Cathy Dlodlo has spoken to Mahlako.
