Notice: Re-scheduled water interruption, Kimberley─── 11:52 Tue, 20 Sep 2016
Kimberley - The electricity outage that was planned to take place at Riverton in Kimberley on Wednesday 21 September 2016, has been rescheduled at the request of Eskom.
This is due to a new transformer that will be installed to replace an old leaking transformer by Eskom.
In order to avoid disrupting the water supply twice, Eskom will combine the installation of the new transformer and what needs to do be done for a later date, which is to be communicated at a later stage.
The Sol Plaatje Municipality and Eskom would like to apologise any confusion caused.
Though this matter has been rescheduled, water supply will continue as normal.
The municipality also urges the public to conserve water.
