The 18-time Grand Slam champion, Roger Federer, of Switzerland has broke back into the top 10 on the latest ATP rankings.
Federer’s five-set win over Rafael Nadal in the final of the Australian Open has seen the Swiss Master climb seven places on the latest rankings.
Nadal in his turn has jumped three sports to sixth, Stanislas Wawrinka, climbed one spot to third, which Milos Raonic moving to fourth.
After his win Federer said his six month break helped with his mental game during the years first Grand Slam.
Denis Istomin of Uzbekistan who knocked out the six-time champion world number two, Novak Djokovic, during the second round have jumped 37 places to 80th.
In the latest WTA rankings, the 23-time Grand Slam champion and winner of Saturday's woman's singles, Serena Williams, reclaimed the number one sport from Germany's Angelique Kerber.
