About me..

James Kilbourn

After wanting to study sound engineering, James opted for a degree in Mass Communication at Potchefstroom University and got involved with the campus radio station. He started his OFM career mid 2002.

He loves the unpredictable, creative environment of radio. James sees radio as the best job in the world!

James erken dat alhoewel hy mal is oor radio, beleef hy tog minder lekker dae, wanneer Murphy die program oorneem. Alles wat kon, het verkeerd geloop en in uiterste frustrasie het hy ‘n on-radiovriendelike woordjie laat glip, sonder om te besef die mikrofoon is nog aan! Hoewel die musiek reeds begin speel het, het ‘n kollega oppad huis toe steeds die woord herken!

He hates olives, gherkins and preferably not anything that lives in the sea. Funny enough, as his favourite quote is “so long and thanks for all the fish!” A quote from one of his favourite books, Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy by Douglas Adams.
