I, Tim Thabethe was born and bred in Durban. After working part time in the food retail industry – and even considering this as a possible career – I discovered radio and never looked back. I’ve always been fascinated by the magic of radio and now that I’m in the industry, I hope to spread the magic myself. Radio is very personal. It is instant and, most of all, it is human. For me, it’s a crucial part of modern living.
I can tell you that my Breakfast Club team – Andre, Leanne and Liezl, is very cool - possibly the best collection of girls and guys to present a breakfast show. 75% of our show is fun, while 20% is dedicated to life and issues affecting central South Africans and Mzansi in general. On occasion we will enjoy a good cry at either a sad or touching moment!
