Through the years I’ve made many mistakes on air, but fortunately listeners realise it’s human. My most embarrassing moment was as master of ceremonies when I fell down the stairs coming off the stage. There’s just no place to hide!

Contrary to popular belief, Christie’s favourite place is not the golf course, but a quiet spot on the beach or on a boat… That is if he can’t be the other half of ‘Pieter and Christie on OFM’. He sees radio as a mirror reflecting the sound of a listener’s life. As unpretentious as can be, he is merely himself behind the microphone.
