Bloemfontein – 1 February 2010 – Marlizé Kruger, previous festival manager of Aardklop, is appointed as the the new business manager for OFM in the North West province.

Kruger is a well known and respected resident in Potchefstroom. She has achieved many accolades and successes in her career. Besides having practiced as an advocate and three stints as Deputy Mayor, she has also overseen the tremendous growth of Aardklop over the past four years.

According to Gary Stroebel, OFM’s CEO, “Marlizé brings extensive management experience and a very wide network in the North West to our business. The station is extremely proud to have such an experienced and respected individual joining our team.”

“I am so privileged and excited to form part of a company such as OFM,” says Marlizé. “Not only will I be joining a team of dynamic and creative people, but also form part of not just a radio station, but a whole media company. I’ve always had an interest in radio and the media industry and years ago spend some time with PUK FM and old Punt radio. It’s been a passion I always hoped to pursue one day again,” added Marlizé.
