Enriko and Lerato 's Biography

Enriko Klopper is no stranger to radio having fallen in love with the industry and developed a passion at a tender age.

 He begun his broadcast career as a news reader on campus based Kovsie FM however it was not long before he moved on to host a graveyard show. Following this he was promoted to hosting the weekend breakfast, drive and ultimately weekday breakfast show. In 2012 Enriko joined OFM’s Street Squad and soon began lending his production skills to the afternoon drive show “Siesta”.

This music fanatic, rookie blogger and football enthusiast thrives on the immediacy of radio and adds “Radio is personal and often I feel like I have thousands of friends in one room. That is what I love the most.”

“Radio itself is a magical platform, it’s an opportunity and blessing to connect and develop friendships with an audience. Every listener is special and instead of entertaining them, they entertain us,” says Lerato Lelia.

Lerato was born and bred in Welkom, Free State. While working towards her undergraduate degree she was drawn to Rhodes Music Radio where she began her radio journey as a news reader before earning a daytime slot. Following her graduation, she relocated to Bloemfontein where she was offered a slot at Kovsie FM.

This energetic and ambitious personality describes herself as a “walking contradiction” who happens to have a career that allows her to immerse herself in the exploration of different cultures and places.
