Drought relief was pledged to Northern Cape, says department─── CHRISTAL-LIZE MULLER 05:44 Fri, 10 Apr 2020
Drought assistance was pledged by government to Northern Cape.
This is according to Nomandla Bloem, MEC of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development, who told OFM News' Christal-Lize Muller about drought relief that was recently set aside by the Minister of Human Settlements, Water and Sanitation, Lindiwe Sisulu. A total of R300 million was set aside for the Northern Cape for drought relief funding after the province was declared a drought disaster area.
