FS ANC top brass head to polls on special votes | News Article

The second day of special votes will see some of the ANC top brass in the Free State casting their votes.

This, as the ANC provincial treasurer and premier for the province, Sisi Ntombela, is today expected to head to her home town of Tweeling where she will mark her ballot for the national and provincial votes.

MEC for Education Tate Makgoe, will, on the other hand, cast his vote at the Universitas Primary School in Bloemfontein. The ANC in the province has meanwhile urged all residents to go out in their numbers to cast their votes during these general elections. ANC Secretary-General and former Free State Premier, Ace Magashule, is also expected in the Free State where he will be casting his vote in his home town of Parys.

OFM News has reported that the Free State remains one of the ANC’s stronghold provinces. According to a political analyst at the University of the Free State, Dr Sethulego Matebesi, the ANC will definitely win the Free State, and although it might lose a slight share of its supports, it will remain dominant in regions such as Mangaung where the ANC was first established.
