The African Content Movement (ACM) leader, Hlaudi Motsoeneng, refutes allegations that ANC Secretary-General and former Free State premier, Ace Magashule, together with former President Jacob Zuma, made financial contributions to his political party.

Speaking to OFM News at the IEC Results Operation Centre in Bloemfontein, Motsoeneng said “why will they sponsor a party opposing the ANC” when asked to respond to the allegations. He maintains that he is independent of the ANC and assured the public he will ensure service delivery, should he emerge victoriously.

He says he is confident that his party received massive support in the province during today’s elections and stands ready for the outcome of the elections.

He maintains that 90% of the country’s economy should be owned by South Africans, and his party could make this possible.

Motsoeneng has further weighed in on service delivery issues faced in Maluti-A Phofung adding that he could turn around the situation experienced by residents in this financially cash-strapped municipality.

Maluti-A-Phofung is listed amongst the municipalities that are highly indebted to the power utility, owing Eskom R7.8 billion.
