The Matlosana Local Municipality has closed its civic centre main buildings for disinfection.
This, after an employee working at the center tested positive for Covid-19. Workers did not report for work since yesterday.
Municipal spokesperson, Ntswaki Makhetha, says an employee reported for duty on Monday 1 June, and later during the day indicated he was not feeling well and went to see a doctor.
It was discovered that he tested positive for Covid-19.
"Due to the incident, the main buildings has been closed for disinfection with immediate effect," said Makhetha.
OFM News learnt that necessary measures are being taken to ensure the buildings are disinfected in order to meet regulations alert for level 3.
