Modise NW animal cruelty case postponed─── 08:22 Thu, 03 Dec 2020
The animal cruelty case against National Assembly Speaker Thandi Modise has been postponed to April next year.
Modise was charged after the NSPCA reported neglected animals at her North West farm in 2014.
Over 50 animals were found dead with many others dehydrated and without food.
AfriForum's Advocate Gerrie Nel is privately prosecuting Modise on behalf of the NSPCA.
The speaker has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
