The African Christian Democratic Party (ACDP) is of the opinion that South Africa's financial situation is in a dire situation.
This is due to the low economic growth figures that were estimated on 1.5% in February this year, but dropped to a estimate of 0.5% in February next year.
A MP from the ACDP, Steve Swart, says the fact that the South African Revenue Service (SARS) collected R50 billion less money this year and the additional expenditure on Eskom places huge pressure on the country's financial position.
