She also appealed to all roleplayers to welcome the implementation of the African free trade area that will be effective in July. This will take place during the time that President Cyril Ramaphosa will be the chair of the African Union (AU). Didiza said it is well known that the agricultural industry is the pillar of South Africa's economy, that is why the sector must look at ways to improve better relations with government in order to ensure the country take advantage of the free trade area.
