Police's quick response hailed by Kuruman victim─── 16:00 Mon, 13 Jan 2020
Police in Kuruman were recognised for their quick response when a 24-year-old female reported a robbery on Saturday.
This was after a 20-year-old suspect robbed the woman of her cellphone using a knife that was later confiscated by the police. Shortly after the robbery the police, the Galeshewe HRDC members and Vehicle Crime Investigating Unit conducted a search for the suspect.
An hour into the search, the police. together with the victim, caught the suspect and the possessions of the victim were also retrieved. The suspect was expected to appear in court on the 13th of January 2020.
OFM News checked in with police spokesperson, Mohale Ramatseba, and the outcome of yesterday's court proceedings is yet to be released to the public.
