Ventersburg residents complain at Afriforum─── LEATILE LEIEE 15:07 Tue, 25 Feb 2020
Residents in the Ventersburg area have laid a complaint with Agriforum with regard to a lack of water supply that’s been continuing for the past week.
OFM News spoke to the ChiefWhip of the DA in the Matjhabeng Municipality, Maxie Badenhorst,and she confirmed that the Matjhabeng Municipality is not to blame as Sedibeng Water has not been pumping enough water into the reservoir that’s meant to provide for Ventersburg and other surrounding areas.
Badenhorst tells OFM Newsthat the main reservoir that’s being supplied with water from Sedibeng is currently empty and Sedibeng blames the issue on the ongoing load-sheddingthat has been implemented in recent weeks by Eskom. The residents are seeking a solution as it has inconvenienced many.
