The South African Invitational team are in Bloemfontein to face Bangladesh in a 50 over match on Thursday.
Duminy would will skipper South Africa said the postponed is a huge let down.
“To see the manner in which it’s been postponed and how it’s been dealt with is disappointing.
“I’m hoping that this is not the end, I’m hoping that it can still recover and still happen next year.
“The reasons for that is obviously beyond our knowledge right now.
“I’m hoping that we can come to some kind of consensus on what the way forward is.”
The game between South African Invitational and Bangladesh at the Mangaung Oval gets underway at 10:00 on Thursday morning.
