After producing a 5-0 whitewash of Bangladesh in their 5 match One Day International series, the Protea women's cricket team now shift focus to a 3 match T20 international series against the Tigers starting this week.
While the Proteas emphatically beat the visiting side in each of the 5 One Day Internationals, a reboot and reset for the shorter format of the game will be necessary should the team want to continue on their winning path.
The T20 series against the Tigers gets underway on Thursday and the Protea Women's Captain Dane van Niekerk says that the exciting part is seeing each and every player hit some good form heading into the coming series.
"The most exciting for me is the different people that put up their hands, every other game there was a different player that got player of the match."
"I think we are going really well so hopefully it will go on especially going into the coming series," van Niekerk added.
Kimberley’s Diamond Oval hosts T20 number 1 on Thursday followed by the 2nd and 3rd T20’s in Bloemfontein on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
