From the royal family to Prince Kaybee and more...

Catherine becomes Meghan's pillar of strength

Duchess of Cambridge is reportedly Meghan Markle's pillar of strength as she faces her on-going family drama.

The sisters-in-law seem to be warming up to each other and insiders say Kate is making an effort to support the newest member of the royal family as she battles a very public family spat, Express reports.

Between Meghan’s dad Thomas Markle’s constant tirades about his youngest daughter cutting him off, and her stepsister continually discrediting her, the former Suits star has experienced lots of hurly-burly over the past few months.

Despite earlier rumours that Kate hadn’t warmed to Meghan, the two now seem to be forging a strong bond after they attended the Wimbledon tennis tournament together to watch Serena Williams compete in the women’s final in July, Harper’s Bazaar reports.

Prince Kaybee shaken

He was in shock after his gig in Kimberley was halted over the past weekend because of clashes between protestors and police in the area.

The musician was caught in the middle of the action recently  when chaos erupted at his show in Kimberley.

Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Pogisho Mompati, said a nearby clash between stone-throwing protestors and police led to chaos and tear gas filling the air.

"Protestors were running past the car wash while Kaybee was performing. The police  shot rubber bullets and tear gas in the air and was moving towards the venue. So there was chaos."

Pogisho said security quickly whisked Prince Kaybee off stage as the chaos erupted but there was no damage to any cars or property.

"He was not hurt. He was just a bit shaken but fine. We secured the whole area."
