Motsoeneng's CCMA bid fails─── 08:13 Fri, 21 Sep 2018
Former SABC chief operations officer, Hlaudi Motsoeneng, will not be returning to the public broadcaster anytime soon.
The CCMA has dismissed Motsoeneng’s bid to be reinstated to his old position.
Motsoeneng was fired last year after he was found guilty of misconduct for bringing the SABC into disrepute.
Motsoeneng was also criticised for introducing a 90% local music quota at radio stations.
In 2014, a report by then public protector, Thuli Madonsela, revealed that Motsoeneng lied about his qualifications.
