Bloemfontein - New evidence has come to light in the high treason case of the four alleged right-wingers.
The state told the Bloemfontein Magistrate's court today that weaponry was discovered in the Eastern Cape and ammunition in Limpopo, which are believed to would have been used during the alleged planned murder of top ANC leaders during the party's elective conference in Mangaung last year.
This caused the case to be postponed again today for further investigation.
Hein Boonzaaier, Johan Prinsloo, Mark Trollip and Martin Keevy stand charged with plotting to commit acts of terrorism and high treason.
They must be back in court on August 23. Boonzaaier is the only one who has been granted R80 000 bail, while the rest remain in custody in Bloemfontein's Grootvlei Prison.
