Bloemfontein - Sentencing of convicted fraudster Lianné Greyling will commence at 14h00 this afternoon in the Bloemfontein Regional Court.
Greyling’s lawyers asked for a postponement this morning, stating that they had only received the social worker's report on Monday, adding that the report from correctional services had not been completed yet.
Magistrate Marina Voges granted the postponement.
In April, Greyling was convicted of 12 counts of fraud and 12 of theft. The state withdrew a further 12 counts of fraud or alternatively theft against her.
The fraud, amounting to nearly R6 million, related to the import of vehicles and vehicle parts.
