Potchefstroom - Six family members have died after their home caught fire in Phohung Section, Ganyesa on Wednesday night.
North West police spokesperson, Pelonomi Makau says a 73-year-old man, his 35-year old daughter and four children between the ages of three and nine, were sleeping in their one-roomed house when a bed in which the daughter and children were sleeping caught fire. She says the woman and children burned to death. The father allegedly died of smoke inhalation.
