Kimberley - Three suspects will appear before Kimberley Magistrate’s Court on charges of business robbery today.

The suspects, aged 32, 33 and 42 years, allegedly stole a motorcycle worth R45 000 as well as jackets and helmets to the total value of R20 000 from a motorcycle dealership on Saturday. According to police’s Dimakatso Mooi, the police are investigating a case of business robbery.

“It is alleged that on Saturday night the owner of a motorcycle dealership heard an alarm activation at his store. Upon investigating, he found the display window removed and a bike, reflector jackets and helmets were missing. He immediately notified the police and they followed the trail of the suspects. All three suspects were later arrested,” Mooi explains.

Two other suspects of business robbery are to appear in court in the Northern Cape. They allegedly pelted a tuck shop owner with beer bottles before fleeing with money and cigarettes worth over R14 000, in Modderrivier, last week.
