Provincial EFF chairperson, Betty Diale, told OFM News Mahumapelo failed to address key issues of how he plans to deal with corruption, create employment and ensure service delivery in the province. 

She says Mahumapelo instead made empty promises as he has allegedly been doing for the past years since he has been in office. 

Diale says Mahumapelo has done nothing for the province but turned it into a hub of corruption, where state funds are looted by him and his cronies, including the controversial Gupta family.

Meanwhile, DA provincial leader, Joe McGluwa, says what they have seen today was a premier who utilised the platform to settle political scores.

He says Mahumapelo’s announcement of forensic reports to be released is a sign that he is not willing to vacate office, only when his term ends.

McGluwa adds that Mahumapelo failed to speak on how he plans to deal with service delivery issues.
